So, Captain Kirk, Fonzie, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman pile into a tuk tuk in Thailand…
No, this isn’t the start to a bad dad joke; it’s the premise for NBC’s latest comedy series Better Late Than Never. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is proud to announce that Thailand will serve as the finale destination for the traveling foursome: Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman. The Thailand finale will air on September 13th at 10pm ET on NBC and will feature a plethora of first-time experiences for the rag-tag crew in both Chiang Mai and Phuket.
Based on a popular Korean format, “Better Late Than Never” is a fish-out-of-water show that follows cultural icons Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman on their greatest adventure yet. Deciding it’s better late than never, these four national treasures embark on the journey of a lifetime, traveling across Asia on their own with no schedule and no itinerary. The only help will come from Jeff Dye, a young tech-savvy comedian with an agenda of his own and who isn’t above leading the men off track. Each stop is packed with hilarious cultural experiences, heartwarming spectacles and unexpected twists as our legends take on this unforgettable adventure.
Following the show’s theme of bucket list experiences, Thailand offers a plethora of bucket list activities with its abundance of adventure, natural wonder, and cultural attractions. In the North, activities available include river rafting, elephant trekking, visiting hill tribe villages and of course the Yi Peng festival in November. When venturing in the South you have island hopping, Muay Thai training, and experiencing the famous Songkran Festival in April. What will the comedic characters get themselves into? Tune in on September 13th at 10pm ET on NBC to find out!
