Even if you don’t “keep up with the Kardashians,” you can vacation like them in Thailand. Earlier this summer, the Kardashian and Jenner clans took the ultimate family vacation in Phuket, home to some of Thailand’s most beautiful beaches and awe-inspiring experiences. Their adventures were aired across three episodes on E! Network’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
From a private villa, to ziplining, to snorkeling, the sprawling family found activities for everyone with some of the best things Phuket has to offer. Read on for our recap and travel guide so you can relive the experience on your own.
Where to Stay
If you’re willing to spare no expense, then the Iniala Beach House is a vacationer’s paradise overlooking the Andaman Sea. Comprised of three beachfront villas situated on Natai Beach, together they house ten suites, each designed by a different designer from all over the world. The eclectic architecture draws from traditional Thai heritage as well as modern design, for a unique combination of entertainment and surprise.
Each stay comes complete with personalized service just for you including butler staff, VIP transportation, up to six hours of spa treatments per day, exquisitely prepared meals from morning to night, tropical cocktails, villa BBQs, and picnics for your day trips.
The added bonus? All these indulgences actually help give back to the community with 15% of resort revenues going directly to the Inspirasia Foundation, which is committed to funding projects in health and education throughout Asia. Now that’s something we can get behind!
Explore the Waters: Long-tail Boat & Snorkeling
A short ride on a long-tail boat or speedboat can take you to some of Phuket’s best snorkeling locales. Our favorite spots are the Phi Phi Islands, Simian Islands, Coral Island, and Ya Nui Beach. Crystal clear waters and hidden coves provide the ultimate underwater exploration experience for beginners and experts alike.

For the Adventurous: Ziplining
Are you an adrenaline junkie or maybe just need to feel the wind in your face? Ziplining is a rewarding thrill that you will never forget. Trained professionals will set you up with plenty of supervision and safety checks, then soon you will be gliding through the treetops deep in the rainforest like a bird or a monkey… maybe you’ll even encounter a couple!
Ready to try? Our Thailand Wellness Journey package includes a ziplining adventure.
How to Give Back: Volunteer at a local Orphanage
The Kardashians spent part of their time giving back to the local community by spending some time at a nearby orphanage. They donated loads of toys, soccer balls, and board games to the facility. They also helped the children paint a mural, enjoyed a couple rounds of volleyball, and let the kids show them the sights around town — and the children loved every minute of it! Partake in Tradition: Lantern Release
Wrap up your exquisite journey by releasing a glowing paper lantern, or “wish lantern” into the night sky. The symbolism of releasing a lantern can be tied to the Loi Krathong Festival that happens every year on the 12th lunar month (usually November). Make a wish or a prayer as you lift your lantern and maybe a little luck will come your way.
